Green Room Communications is Hiring a Remote Finance Coordinator (REMOTE)

Position Summary:We’re growing and looking for a Finance Coordinator to provide support for our finance and operations teams. Responsibilities include:• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and metrics tracking for projects in Quickbase (our project management system)• Work closely with the Account Leads and Accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting• Has general bookkeeping knowledge (AP, AR, Payroll) to be able to assist as needed (utility player)• Understands debits/credits in accounting• Review and approve monthly consultant invoices• Assist with monthly invoicing, reporting, and project management as needed• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools within Quickbase • Be able to assist with general administration tasks as neededThis is an ideal position for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about developing their skills in a flexible and collaborative working environment with a growing agency. We are based out of Parsippany, NJ, but position can be remote.Credentials & Experience•Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or a related field •At least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Essential Skills:• High proficiency in financial modeling techniques• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)• Strong analytical and data gathering skills• Good business acumen• Critical thinking skills.
