Job Descriptions:
Duration: 06 Months
Shift: 3rd Shift
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing all hand polishing/buffing operations on client’s products using abrasive belts, buffs, compounds, and greases to attain the required cosmetic and blueprint specifications on the product.
General Functions:
- Change belts and wheels as necessary for a proper finish.
- Maintains all equipment in the department as is required.
- Do final buff for parts requiring additional work after robots finish.
- Complete penetrant certification.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with one year of experience polishing or buffing using a variety of metals
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Proficient in performing inspection of products using micrometers, calipers, comparator and gauges
- Capable of working without close supervision
- Works in a team/cellular environment
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified inspection techniques within 30 days of the start
Travel Requirements:
- 5% or less

Pay: $25.00 per hour

- Warsaw, IN 46580: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
