We are looking for an energetic individual to fill our Scheduling Coordinator position. Read on for more details of this exciting opportunity!

The primary purpose of this position is to plan and post the employee/machine work schedule to ensure that all employees (including temporary workers) have work assignments that are aligned with the customer’s production requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Plans, develops and prepares work assignments/schedules for all employees and temporary workers for the manufacturing site.
• Works closely with Temporary Service Agencies to ensure an adequate number of qualified temporary service workers are available.
• Assist, as needed, with new employee orientations in terms of facility tours, assigning of lockers, safety orientation, material safety data sheets (MSDS), lock out/tag out, blood borne pathogens, etc.
• Works with the Planning Director and Production Supervisor(s) to prioritize assets in order of their value to the corporation.
• Performs the administrative duties regarding scheduling of employee personal time off (PTO).
• Plans, coordinates and communicates product changeovers while working closely with the Planning Director and Production Supervisor(s).
• Trains and assists employees to accurately complete production and other reports.
• Keeps Production Supervisor(s) informed of concerns and issues on the manufacturing floor.
• Responds to employee questions and concerns regarding miscellaneous issues.
• Ensures that employees and temporary workers report to work in appropriate work attire including PPE (safety shoes and safety glasses, etc.)
• Ensures manufacturing site is tour ready at all times.
• Fill in for other team members as needed.
• Performs any other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

• High School degree.
• Previous scheduling experience preferred.
• Possess basic computer skills – especially Word, Excel and Outlook
• Will be required to cover team vacation to include other absences with notice.
