The position of landscaping/lawn maintenance worker consists of landscaping and maintaining grounds of residential and commercial properties using the proper tools or equipment. Position needing to be filled is full time Monday- Friday.

Tasks

• Care for established lawns by mowing, weeding, edging, blowing and trim hedges.
• Walk the property to gather and remove litter and debris.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment.
• Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers;
• Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, chain saws, sod cutters, and pruning saws:
• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, and other grounds features;
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws;

Rake/ blow leaves from walks, driveways, and parking lots.

Qualifications and requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to control operations of equipment, to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
