Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking Quality Assurance Technician on 1st and 2nd shift for our Glendale Heights plant. You will test and inspect products to ensure finished products adhere to the established quality standards and meets regulatory compliance.Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is a leading manufacturer of Greek and Mediterranean foods for foodservice, national chain, retail grocery, specialty, and warehouse club businesses. We have manufacturing facilities in Elk Grove Village and Glendale Heights. We manufacture and distribute specialty meats, flatbreads, dips, spreads, and sauces.What you are going to be doing… Testing and inspecting dimensions, weight, temperature, and performance Conduct online inspection and process control limits Compile and evaluate data to maintain quality and reliability of productsUnderstand and enforce principles of HACCP, GMP and GDK Foods quality standardsAssure that 100% of Raw Material, In-Process and Finished Product not adhering to standards is contained and not used in production or shipped to customers.What you need to Have… 1 years of experience in food manufacturing environment in a QA/QC role Knowledge of trend analysis preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in manufacturing and/or distribution environment; preference given to candidates with experience in inventory control or production planning in a food manufacturing facilityProven ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)Basic math aptitudeExceptional interpersonal skillsStrong organization, analytical, and deductive reasoning skillsBi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical Demands/Work Environment…Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting.
