Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer has overall responsibility for maintaining the agency's general ledger, financial controls and the supporting systems to the general ledger in an accurate and timely fashion. Administer fiscal planning, budgeting, forecasting and the agency's contracting process. Overall responsibility for Agency's management information systems and facilities. Supports the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors and maintains an effective financial liaison with EOEA, and funding sources.

Position Responsibilities: Directs all accounting functions including general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable and collections to ensure proper controls along with accurate and timely recordkeeping. Prepares and reviews monthly financial reports with staff, Board of Directors and Finance Committee and provides analysis of results. Prepares and provides Agency and individual program budgets for approval. Provides fiscal support in special projects, grant application and fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven experience
  • Familiarity with reimbursement systems for health and social services
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with technology
  • Familiarity with external auditors and annual audit process
  • UFR knowledge
  • Experience with pension plans and in product development and pricing

Hours 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
