We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Internal Audit Team! The Internal Auditor is primarily responsible for supporting Senior Leadership, the Chief Risk Officer, and Audit Committee by evaluating controls, procedures, and performance to determine process improvements and efficiencies. As an Internal Auditor, you will Exercise Sound Business Judgement! Create, plan, perform, and report on processes and procedures. Collaborate with teams, subject matter experts, and control owners to make process improvements and identify efficiencies. Be Solution Driven! As you work to reduce and mitigate risk, you will collaborate with all areas in the organization to document risks and their associated controls. In addition, you will leverage technology and flowcharting tools to maximize your efficiency and effectiveness. Use Your Financial Skills! Analyze financial and technical information to create control and process reviews, with a goal of identifying process improvements and efficiencies. Be a Subject Matter Expert! You will conduct assessments of the areas being audited and through your understanding of current processes and controls will adapt the audit plan accordingly. You will build trust and a commitment to maintaining sound controls as you follow up with stakeholders on audit recommendations. Experience Opportunities for Professional Growth! You will research current internal audit and financial best practices and techniques with each engagement. Obtain and maintain the appropriate level of annual Continuing Professional Education while applying your knowledge and best practices to the workplace. Have Leadership and Team Support! A strong organizational culture focused on our greatest asset: you! To be successful in this role you’ll need A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required. Possess or working toward obtaining one of the following professional certifications: CPA, CIA, or CFE. Excellent analytical skills, the ability process information, resulting in process improvements and efficiencies. Previous experience with audit techniques, planning/organizing, analysis and report writing Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills Superior organizational skills, ability to see the big picture, and effectively communicate to all levels.
