What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Recovery Coach position at Great Lakes Recovery Centers?
Great Lakes Recovery Centers is looking for a Peer Recovery Coach. Must be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently, with empathy, listening skills, strong communication skills, basic computer and software literacy. A self-starter with little need for direct supervision & possess the ability to maintain a friendly and professional attitude.
Requirements:
Be at least 18 yrs. old;
Have two (2) continuous years in recovery from addiction(s) with experience in navigating treatment and/or prevention services;
Be willing to successfully complete the MDHHS Peer Recovery Coach training and Certification.
