We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our rapidly growing Finance team. This individual will be primarily focused on our monthly close process. In addition to playing a critical part in ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, this individual will also participate in implementing critical policies and procedures needed for the success of the Finance function.

• Assist in the monthly close process for Gravie, Inc. and all its subsidiaries
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Prepare variance or flux analysis reporting as needed
• Collaborate with the Financial Operations team to ensure the source reporting of financial transactions is accurate and timely
• Be a critical participant in the full implementation of NetSuite
• Prepare necessary documentation needed for audit and tax partners
• Participate in establishing SOX controls in current Finance environment
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and proactively implement solutions that will enhance Gravie’s Finance function 
• Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative, empathetic and outcome oriented.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1-3 years of related experience
• Organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
• Energetic, positive, and self-motivated attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills

• CPA
• Experience in the healthcare insurance industry
• Experience with NetSuite and Concur
• Previous startup company experience
