The Marketing Associate reports to the Director of Food & Beverage and the Head of Business Development. They are responsible for managing our social media accounts creating marketing collateral for print and digital distribution. This role has a direct growth path into leading the Marketing Department following proven success, building your own Associate team to follow. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about working with others to deliver creative content, aspiring others to contribute outside of the marketing department (i.e Golf Pro's, Chefs, Managers).
Responsibilities & Accountability
Essential Functions:
·Creates and gathers social media content,including photos, videos and reels, digital flyers, etc.
·Prepares and presents social media calendars.
·Generates and presents analytics reports.
·Regularly interacts with followers, buildingrelationships and strengthening brand recognition through social mediaengagement.
·Follows brand guidelines, including adherence tostyle guide and approved messaging.
·Attends on-site events and capturing photos andvideo content for social media, website and other marketing needs.
·Acts as brand ambassador, ensuring all contentis reflective of brand identity, mission and goals.
·Creates inspiring captions, calls to action andother conversation to stimulate engagement.
·Answers all inquiries submitted through website,general email account and social media accounts.
·Designs promotional materials, includinggraphics for print and web, e-blasts, flyers and other marketing assets.
·Handles branded administrative requests,including creation and/or ordering of special menus, signage, business cards,etc.
·Utilizes Membership app for strategic messaging.
·Engages with Members, building relationships andacting as point person for Club information.
·Collaborates regularly with leadership to create strategic social media marketing plans.
·Performs other tasks, as needed.
Position Requirements
·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communicationsor other related field preferred.
·Basic graphic design and editing skills, experiencewith Adobe Creative Suite, a plus.
·Proficient in social listening tools, publishingand photo editing software.
·Proven social media experience, personal online presenceand knowledge of all popular platforms and current trends.
·Commitment to customer satisfaction, with aguest-focused attitude and an eagerness to connect both online and in-person.
·Outgoing personality with strong written, verbaland interpersonal communication skills.
·Organization and attention to detail.
·Flexibility, working varying shifts includingevenings, weekends and holidays, as required.
·Professional appearance.
