We are looking for a professional and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant Executive Director. This individual is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with the overall day-to-day management and operation of the community, with responsibilities that include but are not limited to: ensuring the community is safely meeting residents’ needs; maintaining compliance with federal, state and local requirements; meeting the financial expectations outlined in the annual budget; and ensuring residents are provided with the best quality of resident care by maintaining care, safety and happiness.
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Job Type: Full time, salaried with benefits
Education and/or Experience:
· Required: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; College preferred.
· Preferred: Administrative, medical and/or social services training.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
· Preferred: CORE Trained.
· Preferred: CPR with AED Certification.
· Preferred: Food Service Manager Certification.
Other Skills and Abilities:
· Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Must be familiar with current licensure rules and regulations governing the community.
· Must have the ability to effectively understand and use community electronic care programs and scheduling programs as well as perform basic computer skills.
· Must have the ability to train, coach and mentor staff.
Work Environment:
· Standing, walking, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and/or lifting, primarily in an office environment.
· Responsible for keeping a clean and neat work area.

We are a Drug-Free Workplace, and all employees must pass a drug screening prior to their start date. Applicants must pass a Level II Background Screening and test negative for COVID-19 prior to starting orientation. Background screening and COVID-19 tests are paid for by the company. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
