The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is responsible for:
- Preparation of customer invoices
- Application of all customer payments against open invoices
- Collections on all accounts receivable balances
- Follow up on customer payment discrepancies
- Assist with month end closing process
- Provide information for company audits
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need:
- 5 years accounts receivable experience and/or Associates Degree
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and 10-key by touch
- Knowledge of AS-400 and SAP software applications is preferred
- Detailed oriented, professional, and reliable
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem solving, research and resolution, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Basic accounting principles knowledge
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication
