Atalco Gramercy Operations is Hiring a CAD/Draftsman Near Gramercy, LA
- Develop piping, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical and instrument design drawings using computer aided drafting (AutoCAD) software, company standards and specifications.
- Layout and draw schematic, orthographic, and isometric views depicting functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
- Revise existing designs to correct operating deficiencies and reduce production problems.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs, procedures, and instructions.
- Compute mathematical formulas to design and develop detailed drawings for components or machinery, using computer aided drafting (AutoCAD) software.
- Coordinate and consult with other workers to resolve design issues and other technical problems.
- Layout, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications to describe operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Field surveying of existing conditions to ensure accurate design of new drawings.
