In This Role You Will ... 

  • Provide ABA based programming, plans, and services in the clinic, in the home and in school settings
  • Conduct intake meeting, assessments, and behavior plans in a timely manner
  • Work with the scheduling coordinator to get a team of therapists together for on-going services
  • Train new behavior therapists to learn how to provide ABA services 
  • Continue to provide supervision and feedback in a supportive manner to ensure therapist growth and retention
  • Work with parents in a professional, supportive, and clinically impactful manner
  • Design, collect, and supervise case data collection
  • Ability to program (and analyze data and make changes) in a way that promotes child growth in a timely manner
  • Manage behavior therapists and provide coaching to ensure professionalism and alignment with company values Address disciplinary matters when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal team, families, clients, and other professionals to provide the best support for clients
  • Collaborate with outside providers that work with the child
  • Ensure all proper documentation is in the child’s file
  • Work with the supervising clinician (BCBA) and clinical director for on-going training and supervision
  • Write updates to physicians, educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Conduct re-assessment and progress reports in the appropriate time 
  • Write evaluations in a timely manner
  • School advocacy
  • Participate in community lectures and workshops
  • Provide continuity of care and coverage for other therapists
  • Drive between facilities (clinics) when needed to cover in emergency and temporary situations so that continuity of therapy is achieved
  • Drive to IEP meetings and team meetings in the client’s home when applicable
  • Respond to communications quickly to maintain high level of service
  • Participate in project management, and/or be a part of a project team
  • Be a part of team events and mandatory meetings; some meetings may be after-hours
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time 

The Ideal Candidate ...

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Must have a M.A. or B.A. that falls in line with the BCBA Certification
  • Must maintain current CPR certification
  • 2 years prior experience preferred
  • Adherence to The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts
  • Must have completed the initial 8-hour Supervisor Training requirement
  • Maintain crisis management/physical intervention certification.
  • Excellent oral, listening, communication and self-awareness skills
  • Analytical mind and solutions-driven thinking
  • Self-motivated with the willingness and accountability to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Excellent organization, planning, prioritization and time-management skills
  • Works well with others in a supportive manner
  • Passion and drive for working with children and their families
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and have experience facilitating positive interactions
  • Must respond quickly to email and telephone calls
  • Must be computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel locally to attend various meetings
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and dependable transportation to travel to clinics, homes and schools as required

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move for 30% of the day
  • Use of hearing, hands and eyes 100% of the workday
  • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally during the workday
  • Office environment – may be exposed to loud noises when children are present 
  • Stamina and ability to work all assigned hours
