BETTER HOME HEALTH CARE is Hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Near Gloucester, NJ

$200 Hiring Bonus! / CHHA CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  • Most candidates can start work within several days of submitting their paperwork with full onboarding. Candidates need to meet home care agency regulations including passing a criminal background check and have a successful negative tuberculosis test. The bonus will be paid after the first 40 hours of completed work.

Certified Home Health Aides are responsible for helping patients maintain their personal health and hygiene in their residence. The duties include, light housekeeping, preparing meals, grooming patients and handling basic logistics such as paying bills or scheduling appointments.

Home Health Aide Duties and Responsibilities

Home Health Aides help patients in a variety of ways, including taking their vital signs or medication reminders under a nurse’s direction. They must record and report this data as medically necessary. Aides also help patients with daily functions, such as dressing or taking a shower. They can assist with planning for doctor’s appointments or other meetings and may organize transportation for them.

Other Home Health Aide responsibilities may include:

  • Housekeeping, such as vacuuming or doing laundry
  • Cooking meals
  • Help with ordering groceries
  • Reporting to nurses about patient’s health status
  • Teaching patient self-care skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 per hour
