$22 per hour (based on education and experience)

Seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. This position assists the multi-disciplinary team as it relates to clinical services provided to the patient population. We offer up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Other perks include no nights or weekend work and a $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 after successful completion of your probationary period and $500 after 6 months).

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)

1. Collection of data related to the patient / family’s health, pain, nutritional, psychosocial, behavioral, cultural, age specific and learning needs.
2. Promotion of preventive health care.
3. Referral to Healthcare Advocates or community resources when appropriate.
4. Uses principles of learning to participate in education with the patient and family.
5. Advocates for the rights of the patient and family.
6. Safely administers medication and treatments per standard of care.
7. Communicates with patients / family about the plan of care.
8. Provides care using principles of telephone nursing practice.
9. Anticipates needs of the provider.
10. Assists in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the exam room, procedure rooms and other clinical work areas.
11. Performs CLIA waived testing.
12. Participates in professional learning experiences.
13. Maintains required licensure.

REQUIREMENTS

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One year of professional nursing experience in ambulatory care preferred- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Michigan. Current BCLS certification.
