They will be your greatest resource! ResponsibilitiesScreen, identify, assess, and diagnose disorders of language, articulation, fluency, voice, and oral-pharyngeal functionOrganize a program that addresses local school speech-language goalsWork cooperatively with school personnel to accomplish objectives of the local education agencyCounsel patients and/or families in the adjustment to the speech impairment (for speech pathologist positions)Collaborate/consults with classroom teachers in the management of speech-language disordersCoordinate speech and language services with students provided by other school personnelConduct speech, language, and hearing screeningsAdminister formal and informal (ongoing and curriculum-based) assessmentsAnalyze and interpret information to make recommendations regarding the need for speech-language servicesPlan evidence-based interventions appropriate for individual studentsGather relevant information in the assessment of students experiencing learning and adjustment problems; analyze situations accurately and take effective action RequirementsState SLP license (required)CCC-SLP (preferred)Pediatric and/or school-based experience (preferred) Global Psychological is committed to equal employment opportunities to employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
