GPM Investments, LLC is Hiring a Territory Sales Manager Near Jacksonville, FL

Overview

Prospect, negotiate, and sign new business. Build and maintain business relationships with existing customers. Build a pipeline reflecting the company's goals to grow motor fuel sales in branded and unbranded channels. Maintain brand standards with all represented major oil companies.

Responsibilities

Increases the sale of wholesale fuels via new/existing business through the following:

  • Grow business by bringing on new wholesale supplied locations
  • Maintain existing wholesale customers and renewing fuel supply agreements with current book of business
  • Maintain communications between customers and company
  • Maintain company / Brand standards at Dealer sites
  • Review P&Ls for individual sites and territory as a whole
  • Have a working knowledge of dealer fuel supply agreements
  • Maintain knowledge of brand requirements as related to brand/site image and procedures • Coordinates and monitors brand imaging work for new accounts
  • Consult customers on maintaining profitability and growing their businesses.
  • Demonstrate leadership with customers by directing sales calls, managing sales contracts, and closing sales.

• Advise customers on equipment upgrades: assist customers through the purchase or upgrade process by ensuring adherence to all regulations

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, TM must be able to perform each of the above tasks satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • 5 years of work experience with a fuel distributor (Jobber) or Major oil company. For example, Shell, Exxon, Valero, Chevron, Texaco, Phillips 66, Marathon, Citgo, Sunoco, or BP. 
  • Knowledge of Brand Management, supply agreements and Dealer management / relations. 
  • Knowledge of c-store/gas station operations. 
  • 5 years of sales management with a focus on new business development within the convenience store industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 years’ associated experience in the fuel supply (Jobber network), fuel distribution to independent dealer industry. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other business applications.
