**Software Engineer**
The Software Engineer is responsible for the development of ultrasound medical device software to support current and future company products and will participate in the manufacturing, testing, servicing, and documentation of products.
A skilled candidate will have 5 years’ experience with responsibilities in:
- Designing, developing, and testing medical device software
- Developing and maintaining software documentation, including test protocols
- Providing internal IT support
- Serving as investigator or contributor for assigned feedback and complaint investigations
- Coding and software testing with hardware/software development teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science**
- Excellent communications skills
- Experience with Java, C , Swing, Windows and Linux
- Experience with build scripting/build management
- Working knowledge of software development in a highly regulated environment: FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485
- TCP/IP interfaces and HTML - design protocols experience
- General knowledge of IEC 62304 Medical Device Software -Software Life Cycle Processes
- Programming embedded systems and Microcontrollers
- Hardware interfacing and interfacing protocols experience: Serial, Parallel, USB, USB2, USB3, VXI, GPIO, I2C, etc.
- Experience with OpenGL, 3D modeling
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship
- Full time position with bonus, benefits
