Overview:
The Director of Product Marketing works on highly impactful and visible cross-functional programs that accelerate sales, unlock revenue growth, increase demand for our product, and build awareness of Govenda. Our challenge is to tell Govenda’s differentiated story in a straightforward way that resonates with our markets. The Product Marketers at Govenda are inherently curious about corporate governance, the stakeholder governance revolution as a force for good and want to tell the story.

This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and the candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

What will you own?

Go-To-Market

• Collaborate on go-to-market strategy for new and existing products 
• Drive go-to-market launches, announcements, and campaigns programs, as needed
• Align business value to product offerings and connect to market through messaging and positioning
• Communicate the vision and value of new products to revenue generation teams
• Work cross functionally to tell the Govenda story and act as a thought leader

Market Research

• Contribute to market research projects to better understand the market and gather intelligence to help inform product decisions and messaging
• Analyze competitive landscape
• Spend time with customers to bring the “voice of the customer” to all that we do 

Content Creation 

• Develop and maintain sales tools that facilitate the selling process
• Create messaging guides to support compelling marketing content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts

Technical Acumen

• Be a product evangelist internally and with customers
• Bring technical depth to content strategy

Program Management

• Achieve alignment and buy in from marketing and sales stakeholders 
• Build processes to help us scale

What you have:

• 3 years product marketing experience or other directly transferable experience in a SaaS company
• Expertise with Hubspot, Salesforce and related technologies
• The ability to create and tell a compelling story
• Enthusiasm and demonstrated success working with and leading cross-functional teams to get things done
• Experience working with sales and customer success as a partner 
• Equally comfortable and experienced as a data driven and a creative problem solver
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Bonus points if you have experience in the Pragmatic Framework 
• Bonus points for management experience
