GovSG provides system engineering support to assist the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) strategic planning for the Missile Defense System. In this role you will get to define new capabilities for one of the most advanced Missile Defense Radars for U.S. Warfighters.

Job Description:

• Systems engineering development tasks and support execution of acquisition strategy in support of concept definition for advanced radar capabilities.
• Provide Systems Engineering expertise and knowledge
• Provide Systems Engineering analysis and process management
• Provide independent technical and programmatic assessment
• Perform requirements development and analysis
• Identify, analyze, and document system, design, interface, assessment, and validation/verification requirements to include risk assessments and discrepancy reports
• Collaborate across the MDA organization
• Present technical information to MDA Leadership at various levels

Minimum Requirements:

• 12 years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
• MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math
• Knowledge and application of phased array radar theory, function, and design
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with Program Management
• Experience implementing systems engineering "V" processes
• Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure
• Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
• Ability to work across organizational boundaries
• Ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels
• Proficient with Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of MDA Change Management Process
• Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures
• Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
• Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts

Salary Range: $116,112 - $122,223 depending on experience and qualifications
