Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee consolidation and inter-company elimination entries monthly
• Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for the current team, while conducting performance evaluations
• Plan and implement policies and procedures that align with the company’s financial strategy
• Manage the company’s financial, payables, cash receipts, and assets
• Oversee technical accounting such as ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Lead the company’s annual financial audit
• Monitor and analyze financial accounting data
• Ensure compliance at various levels (local, state, and federal)
• Review and approve monthly account reconciliations
• Own month and year-end close processes, delivering results on time with high accuracy
• Review financial budgeting and monthly forecasting, update of rolling 3-month cash forecast
• Oversee filing and/or support of the filing of sales/use, and personal property tax returns.
• Work closely with outside firm regarding preparation of corporate income tax returns and review the tax provisions
• Additional tasks as requested

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Finance; CPA highly desired
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong knowledge of general ledger and consolidations accounting; 2 years as a people manager
• Big 4 (3 years) and private industry experience (3 years) are strongly desired
• Ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute in a high-pressure environment
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
• Must possess a positive attitude and ability to adapt to changes in workload and job requirements
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of ASC 606 and 842 is a must

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $­­­­100,000 and $160,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
