Location: Lake Success, NY

Salary $80,000 – $120,000

Our client, a well-known Broker that provides excellent growth potential and superior benefits seeks The Large Lines Account Representative to service commercial accounts greater than $100,000.00 in premium.

The Account Representative is a point of contact for assistants, insured’s, producers and carriers. Responsible for Quality Assurance on his/her accounts. Provide guidance, assistance and training to the Assistant Account Executive. Maintain high relationships at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships, resolve conflicts and retaining clients
• Provide risk analyses, underwriting, marketing and all brokerage service to assigned accounts
• Handle New Business submissions. Develop, analyze, market and present competitive programs
• Manage workflow of your accounts..
• Resolve coverage issues or problems
• Assure that coverage is maintained at all times
• Process all transactions; ensuring compliance with procedures and guidelines
• Assist other Account Executives as needed. Responsible for
• Work with producers to enhance client development and service.
• Accept, price and bind insurance within underwriting authority.
• Review application, inspections, financial reports and other data to determine market selection.
• Enter and maintain client data in Sagitta, ImageRight, and Salesforce.

Qulifications

• 5 to 7 years’ experience in Commercial Lines in an underwriting or account executive capacity
• Proven underwriting, producer management, carrier management and managing junior personnel
• BA in business, insurance or related field
• Previous insurance industry experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
• NYS Property and Casualty Broker License
