Production Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring inventory level to make sure that the company doesn’t lack production materials at any point in time (this is done to avoid delay in production and delivery).
• Makes sure that resources being used in the production process are efficiently managed thereby minimizing cost; and ensuring timely delivery of orders to clients/customers.
• Generate production reports that are meant to be used for important (production) decisions.
• Handle all production issues in a way that it doesn’t hinder production and delivery. All while effectively utilizing an ERP system (NetSuite).

• Has supervision over all table leads and packing/unpacking employees.
• Making sure spec samples and pre pros, get packed and ship out also getting, Manager approval before shipping out.
• Assigning orders to the tables to ensure flow of the packing/unpacking process.
• Responsible for Quality Control in the packing department. i.e., ensure that product and print are adequate for shipping. Also, ensuring that contracted customer orders are packed correctly.
• Signing off on scratch tests/packing paperwork.
• Responsible for employee’s timecard, PTO approvals, and assigning their daily schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be accustomed to working under pressure, in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Must have good coordination and organizational abilities. This is needed in a bid to always deliver products on time to customers.
• Possess good interpersonal skills to be able to get along well with other workers (cohesion)
• Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
• Sharp analytical, and decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or any related discipline. OR minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position.

• At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role.
• Production experience required, at least 3 years. Direct experience in the promotional industry a plus, but not required.
