Responsibilities

Interact with and assist customers, donors and others in a courteous and professional manner. Handle donations with respect Sort and tag merchandise, achieve store goals This position is also responsible for completing other duties as assigned including ensuring a positive customer experience and product workflow in both the front and back of the store.

Essential Functions:

• Acknowledge and Assist customers/donors in a timely and courteous manner.
• Merchandise, restock and provide general floor maintenance where needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Living out the values of our mission and communicating those values to internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
• Contributes to team effort by supporting team members to reach predetermined goals, assist supervisors and leads when necessary and perform other duties as assigned by Store Leadership.
• Ability to navigate the use of a computer to perform clock-in/out and complete job trainings and use the POS system.

Working Conditions:

• Retail store environment, temperature varies, loud noises, occasional crowds, exposure to dust.
• Exposure to daily weather extremes (Heat in summer and cold in winter).

• Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).
