POSITION PURPOSE

SPECIFIC DUTIES

1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
2. Ensure strategic alignment of learning with business goals by delivering learning programs, including training of new staff and ongoing development for managers and all staff.
3. Engages and partners with community resources to offer extensive learning and development programs to both the community and employees.
4. Partner with the Learning and Development Manager to assess the effectiveness of existing training and development experiences andpropose revisions and improvements as needed.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to schedule classes around business needs.
6. Manage, create, and deliver content through Lessonly Learning Management System (LMS).
7. Enters training related data into appropriate databases of required and completed training courses
8. Plans, organizes, and facilitates the order of supplies for employee development and learning events.
9. Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of Goodwill of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphias learning and development strategy.
10. Develops and maintains organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of learning and development events and resources.
11. Receptive to feedback, willing to learn and embrace continuous improvement
12. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
13. Works effectively as a team member with other members of all Goodwill departments.
14. Regular attendance is required.
15. Other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly in English. Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish is preferred.
2. Must be able to interact with a variety of people.
3. Strong presentation skills.
4. Experience in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
5. Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
6. Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
7. Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
8. Must have and maintain a positive attitude.
9. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
10. Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
11. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
12. Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other Goodwill employees, donors, and other members of the public.
13. Must possess valid drivers license in good standing and be able to travel to all designated Goodwill locations as needed.
14. Ability to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
