Director of Technology

Reports to Chief Financial Officer

JOB PURPOSE: The Director of Technology works seamlessly with operations, finance, people & culture, and external partners to proactively design and maintain systems to maximize Goode Companys position in the marketplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Anticipates business technology needs in advance and proactively works with stakeholders to build solutions.
• Execute a 3-year technology roadmap with accountability to the Executive team, including ERP migration and integration with ancillary systems.
• Uphold operational stability and functionality of existing technology platforms and hardware.
• Oversee help desk operations, including comparing in-house vs. third-party options for service and cost efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional execution of technology projects, carefully balancing internal resources to drive user experience and financial returns.
• Manage relationships and service levels delivered by technology partners including but not limited to point of sales (POS), financial/accounting, third-party deliveries, e-Commerce, website, human resources, payroll, restaurant management, and reservations.
• Ensure business continuity by designing and establishing disaster recovery and incident response procedures.
• Implement technology governance framework for new software subscriptions and renewals.
• Implement cyber security best practices and monitor user compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to supplement basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with PCI standards and all consumer privacy regulations.
• Launch branded intranet for communications, information access, policy maintenance, and central repository.

• Implements metrics scorecard for ongoing measurement and resource calibration in support of top technology goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred with at least five years of technology experience in a leadership role
• Strategic, hands-on leader with proven ability to provide vision and lead the implementation
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• Experience with credit card security and PCI compliance
• Knowledge of technology infrastructure/network support and system administrator services
• Experience supporting a Microsoft application environment
• Strong knowledge of project management principles
• Superb track record of proactive business leadership to advance the companys mission.
