Full-Time Staff Position Opening - School Social Worker

Gonzaga College High School is seeking a full-time licensed School Social Worker beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.

All candidates will possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree, as master's degree is preferred.

The School Social Worker conducts risk assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling for our students. The School Social Worker also provides social work services to children and their families within the Gonzaga community. Applicants should be either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). The social worker will be part of a counseling team led by the Director of Guidance Counseling.

In addition to licensure, the ideal candidate will:

• Hold experience in school counseling, social work, or a related field (strong preference given to those with 3 years of experience in a high school setting or with high school aged students)
• Have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Possess the ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student and parent population
• Possess a knowledge of and dedication to Jesuit education
