Goldman Global Arts Gallery, located within the Wynwood Walls Museum in Miami, is looking for a new Gallery Sales Associate!


The ideal candidate should display a strong aptitude for hospitality, networking, and client interaction. Excellent organizational skills, ability to effectively prioritize tasks, and knowledge of the gallery and/or museum business are expected.

Compensation: 


$39,750.00k base salary commission


Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining the standards of excellence in the gallery and for the guest experience, presenting a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Interfacing with clients on a daily basis.
  • Scheduling of private collector showings.
  • Maintaining Gallery's footprint through organization and cleanliness.
  • Creating and applying      Artwork Price labels.
  • Building and maintaining great working relationships with past clients and vendors.
  • Interfacing with Gallery      Inventory Management System – Art Systems and Masterpiece Pro. Uploading client profile details, processing sales, and generating invoices.
  • Manage all sales processes from initial contact to product delivery including prospecting, qualifying negotiating, closing, and account management.
  • Direct communication with Gallery team to help coordinate packing, crating, shipping, and invoice delivery following Client Sale.
  • High visitor traffic so it is crucial that the sales associate be able to identify qualified prospects/ collectors, confidently and effectively communicate with them and close sales in the gallery as well as develop leads and sell to his/her clients.
  • Provide bi-weekly lead reports to Upper Management.
  • Follow through with any online generated leads provided by the registrar.
  • Assisting with auction preparations, including artwork curation and room setup to generate awareness and interest among guests.
  • Initiating and engaging in consultative conversations with guests, educating them about our artwork, determining their level of interest, and developing leads.
  • Working the front desk at our gallery or art displays.
  • Developing and maintaining a promotional mindset: constantly marketing the artwork, our gallery, and yourself.
  • Working with the team to devise and execute marketing strategies.

Requirements


  • 2-3 years previous relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of art, Wynwood Walls, and featured artists preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, customer service, and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience with Inventory Management POS Software.
