Golden State Dermatology is a multi-doctor dermatology practice, focused on providing quality care for patients. Our office located in Modesto, is looking for a energetic medical assistants to join our team:

The Medical Assistant's duties will include, but won’t be limited to;

• Rooming patients, obtain history, consent & vitals when indicated
• Process pathology, call patients with results, and schedule treatment
• Assisting in skin checks, minor office procedures, and skin cancer surgery
• Suture removal, post operative wound checks, and dressing changes
• Scribe office visits

Our ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications to be eligible for the position;

• Fully Vaccinated
• Dermatology experience a plus

• Self motivated and be able to work independently, especially in fast-paced environments
• Experience in customer service and be able to assist patients in a friendly and courteous manner
• Ability to work well with a team to accomplish day-to-day goals
• Excellent communication skills and organization
• Basic understanding of medical terms and processes, including HIPAA regulations, Sanitation technique, insurance registration, etc
• A great plus would to know our EMR charting system Modernizing Medicine
