Summary:

Goldbelt Nisga’a TEK, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) for our Aviation Maintenance Services contract located in Fort Benning. The QAM will manage, plan, coordinate, and lead the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Implement countermeasures to reduce and prevent internal quality problems and customer complaints
• Directing and supervising all Quality Assurance activities
• Respond to customer complaints, and clearly communicate the complaints
• Root cause investigation for why made and why shipped, and follow-up on countermeasure implementation
• Develop short/long term goals and objectives that address customer needs and drive continuous improvement
• Inspect, test, and measure products, components, and materials using analytical equipment and gauges
• Review quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and other quality documents as needed
• Develop standardized methods for inspection and testing
• Lead the maintenance and improvement of the quality system
• Develop and implement methods to control nonconforming product
• Perform system, process, and product audits
• Provide training on quality procedures and techniques
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as requested

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
• Able to multitask and work under pressure

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree
• Five (5) years aviation quality control experience. 
• Three (3) years performing Quality Control duties. 
• Must have valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
