Goldbelt, Incorporated is Hiring a Program Analyst Near Washington, DC

Goldbelt C6 is focused on public health, including research and development services that enhance and enlarge our customers’ operations. Our expertise is focused on the integration of scientific and technical support for Federal Civilian and DoD government partners. We are analytical, research, and data-driven professionals with a team of experts ready to support our customer’s missions.

SUMMARY:

Goldbelt C6, LLC., is seeking a Project Analyst to help manage office initiatives, improve internal management processes, and train office staff on the best practices of project management. This position is located within The Office of Policy, Planning and Resources for the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs (R/PPR).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work with R/PPR leadership to analyze office management practices. Propose, design, and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Work with R/PPR leadership to manage the office’s strategic planning efforts.
  • Work with R/PPR units to develop, document, execute, monitor, and evaluate projects aligned to the office’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Establish standard practices, policies, templates, and standard tools to ensure effective project management. Train staff as needed in the principles of project management and the use of project management tools.
  • Manage and advise office staff in management of office-wide projects and initiatives, establishing goals, objectives, milestones, and benchmarks; determining resource requirements; assigning roles and responsibilities; establishing timelines and communication protocols; measuring progress toward the stated goals; proposing strategic adjustments as appropriate; and evaluating and documenting results, outcomes, and lessons learned.
  • Monitor trends and technological developments in project management; determine their applicability to R/PPR’s use cases; and incorporate them as appropriate in the office’s project management practices.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience managing the implementation of complex projects with organization-wide impact
  • Proficiency in the use of word processing software, spreadsheets, databases and project management tools
  • Familiarity with best practices in project management
  • Familiarity with performance measurement, evaluation, surveying and general use of metrics to track organizational performance, progress and goal attainment.
  • Familiarity with principles and practices of knowledge management.
  • Familiarity with formulating, writing, and implementing policies, processes, and procedures.
  • High level of proficiency in written and oral communications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Project Management experience
  • Some travel may be required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently has an active Secret clearance
  • Prior experience working with the U.S. Department of State is highly desired to understand the culture and environment
