Summary:

 Maintain computer systems within the  organizational setting. Duties include installing computers, routers, and other hardware, updating  or repairing existing systems, and troubleshooting problems with hardware. The contractor shall  also provide technical support to employees and customers.

•  Design products using a variety of mediums including video, print,  broadcast, teleconferencing, and electronic means. Interfaces with users to determine scope of  project and best medium. Experience with all multi-media devices. Interfaces with agency and  technical staff to assure quality products delivered on time and within budget.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Computer Technician Level I: Has up to 3 years’ experience and a BA/BS degree or certification. This labor category  is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the  oversight of more senior positions.

• Computer Technician Level II: Has 4 to 10 years’ experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree or certification.  Typically performs all functional duties independently.

• Computer Technician Level III: Has over 10 years’ experience and/or a MA/MS degree or certification. Typically  works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all  functional duties independently. May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible  for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific project/task.

• Compiuter Technician Level IV: A Subject Matter Expert (SME) has qualifications and/or particular expertise that are  exceptional and/or highly unique. SMEs do not have specific experience/education qualifications  but are leaders for a given area of expertise. SMEs typically initiate, supervise, and/or develop  requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex  programs. Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project  staff; provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for mission critical challenges/issues;  consults with client to define need or problem; supervises studies and leads surveys to collect  and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical Certificate or Associates Degree with  three years’ experience.
