GLS North America is Hiring a Lube Technician Near Warren, MI

Position Overview:
The Automotive Technicianposition within the GLS organization requires an individual with a basic level of Automotive Technological understanding and experience. This individual provides general service support for all vehicles – exclusive of any preventative maintenance.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

  • Work to ensure GM Customer Satisfaction in all facets of client interface.
  • Perform incoming vehicle inspections including overall exterior and interior condition, proper component operation, up-on-hoist full undercarriage review, and road test.
  • Remove and replace faulty or damaged components, apply software updates, install OEM accessories and performance components.
  • Diagnose, and repair as necessary, suspected vehicle mechanical, electrical, body, and interior malfunctions or “out-of-spec” conditions.
  • Opportunities for travel at customer Auto Shows, Events, Advertising Photo Shoots, or other special activities.

NOTE: Automotive Technician must possess a minimal level of hand and power tools necessary to effectively execute the day-to-day responsibilities to Management expectations.

Automotive Technician Qualifications:

  • Proven consistent work history.
  • Reasonably skilled in the basic vehicle operation oil change, hoisting, minor repairs, accessory installs, etc.
  • Bonus for reasonable computer skills regarding accessing, reading and inputting required vehicle repair data, but not required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check are a condition of employment.
