This role would target food companies that could use our capabilities to produce finished products for them. We are a Contract MFG/ Co Packers(We produce product to our clients specifications; typically frozen or refrigerated. AND this role would also have the opportunity to sell meat protein as an ingredient to food manufacturesThis role would work closely with internal and external R&D.Our associates are not afraid to speak up! We are looking for a dynamic Sales Professional to join our team!This role would require travel: 20-25% and the best place to live would be near a major airport. This company is Minnesota based. This role is home office based.PRIMARY ACOUNTABILITIES: You will maintain relationships with current ingredient and co-pack customers and have the opportunity to build and develop new customers.Candidate must be able to represent the company in a professional manner in all activity and actions. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual with a proven track record in sales or sales supportSolve customer problems in an efficient/courteous manner.Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.Identifies existing customer opportunities.Monitors market conditions, product innovations and trends, and competitor s products, pricing and sales strategies to maximize competitive stance.Analyze usage and trends to determine recommendations for future contracts and servicesEducation, Experience, Skills:4-year college degree preferred, however, experience considered.Experience in selling B2B preferably meat protein and/or contract mfg. experience and knowledge/understanding.Thorough understanding of company products and capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAt least 5 years of successful proven track record at key accounts.
