What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Global IT?
JOB PURPOSE: To provide administrative support and develop workflow process and systems for a department and/or Department Director with minimal supervision and direction.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Composes correspondence without draft contents.
2. Coordinates travel arrangements and other duties or projects as needed.
3. Enters data into a database, provides summary reports, and adds fields as necessary.
4. Schedule meetings and appointments. Transcribes minutes of meetings.
5. Answers, screens, and initiates phone calls rerouting inquiries for department.
6. Coordinates gathering of input, documents, etc. from single sources for reports and presentations.
7. Serves as liaison for the department/work unit.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
