Fleet Coordinator

Job Description: The Fleet Coordinator is a key role in our business focusing on DOT compliance, Samsara monitoring, and Fleetio reporting.

This position involves:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all Federal and State DOT regulations.
• Prepare required DOT registrations and compliance reports.
• Prepare Samsara and Fleetio reports as required.
• Work closely throughout the day with operations management to ensure all priorities are considered in work scheduling and goals.
• Monitor location of vehicles using GPS platforms, creating reports on location, idle time, and speeding alerts.
• Collect Samsara data to help improve driver behavior.
• Facilitate communication between management and team members.
• Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs.
• Work with external vendors.

Requirements:

• Collaborate with operations management and Human Resources.
• Maintain documentation of DOT-related functions.
• Must be goal-oriented leader that thrives in a fast-paced challenging environment.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize to ensure all repairs are completed in the most efficient and effective manner.
• Thorough knowledge of truck, tractor, and trailer maintenance, and DOT rules and regulations.
• Must have problem-solving skills, good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge working with Samsara and Fleetio recommended.
