Essential Functions:

• Develops and executes the enterprise’s Product Development roadmap for assigned product line(s), following best practices as defined by Company’s standard operating procedures.
• Creates new business opportunities for the enterprise related to assigned product line(s), such as new product development, improvements to existing lines, etc.
• Creates and presents portfolio updates for company leadership reviews.
• Follows the product development priorities and roadmap through collaboration with company leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives.
• Maintains portfolio revenue profit and loss statement, pricing, gross margins for assigned product lines in conjunction with corporate finance team.
• Maintains and manages excess inventory and design programs to reduce overhead related to inventory.
• Leads the exploration of global market trends to identify new opportunities that align with brand strategy.
• Leads product development projects from concept to market launch taking closely working with cross functional teams.
• Collaborates with Brand Management and Marketing to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of products from scale up to launch, both internally and externally.
• Leads regular sync meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate key product development activities across the business.
• Lead the company’s executive Product Development Advisory Council as it relates to dental implants to consider and assess product development projects through quarterly approval meetings and monthly update meetings.
• Collaborates with R&D leaders, Brand Managers, and others as needed on product development activities and timelines in order to ensure seamless communication and transition of product development projects through the product innovation process.
• Maintain thorough documentation on all products through all phases of development.
• Maintain a product database of dental implant and implant accessories.
• Leads the collaboration with Brand Management and Marketing and other customer-facing teams to collect input from customers on product prototypes and concepts.
• Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to adapt and update product development projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (i.e. Marketing, Product Management, Product Development, Material Sciences) required.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in product development and/or product management related to assigned product line(s) required.
• Previous experience in the dental industry required.
• Master’s degree (i.e. MBA) in related field preferred
