Assistant Service Manager

**Make $85,000 - $120,000 / year

Glassman Automotive Group is looking for the right, highly motivated, Assistant Service Manager to lead our service team profitably to the next level and provide our customers with an exceptional customer experience.

• Automotive technical knowledge

Responsibilities

• Hire, recruit, train, motivate, coach and mentor Technicians, Service Advisors and Porters
• Ensure every customer has an exceptional service experience
• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and employees
• Monitor and control the performance of the department using the appropriate reports available
• Monitor Technician and Advisor daily productivity and do payroll reporting
• Prioritize and distribute work within the shop to maximize technician efficiency
• Oversee all required technical and non-technical training for service employees
• Manage and oversee all warranty claims with the OEM and any other outside warranty companies
• Maintain and manage the service courtesy vehicle loaner fleet
• Maintain a professional appearance to our customers of the dealership facility and our employees
• Ensure quality service repairs are completed by doing periodic quality checks
• Maintain our dealership’s strong commitment to CSI by ensuring customers service concerns are reported accurately, customers are kept updated on their vehicle’s progress, all work and charges are explained thoroughly and every customer is followed up on afterwards
