Software Engineering Intern, Platform Infrastructure

The Platform Infrastructure is a core team that is designing and building foundational infrastructure components which enables Glassdoor Engineering to more easily build, deploy, operate, and scale the many services which powers the foundation of flagship Glassdoor platform and mobile/desktop products. As a relatively new team at Glassdoor, we have the opportunity to shape the technical architecture by solving interesting, innovative and fun technical problems and prompte groundbreaking engineering principles through our work.

Our tech stacks lean heavily on global, open community standards and technologies such as Java/Kotlin/Spring Boot/Node.js/React/Postgres/Docker/Kubernetes/GraphQL, etc. Glassdoor engineers work with the latest and greatest of tools and we lay great importance in constantly evolving our software stack to keep up with modern industry best practices. We believe in empowering the creativity of engineers to build upon the foundations of world class software development principles in a highly rewarding and collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Develop code in line with world-class coding guidelines
• Work in a team and architect large scale systems such as monitoring, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools
• Test and deploy your code using common testing methodologies
• Build and manage Cloud Infrastructure in production

What You'll Bring:

• Coding skills in programming language such as Java, Python, Golang, etc
• Intermediate-expert understanding of Cloud Native systems such as Kubernetes/AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools such as GitLab, Terraform.
• Motivated to work in an agile environment
