Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Supervisor or Group Leader, this position must follow standard operating procedures in order to complete the shipping and receiving of products and materials and maintain a safe working environment.
Core Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads TLS and tankers in a timely, accurate and safe manner.
• Effectively communicates customer order and receiving issues to Lead or Supervisor.
• Responsible for packaging materials, including the completion of required paperwork in accordance with shipping regulations and requirements.
• Provides back up to Material Handler.
• Picks and stages intermediates and raw materials for production assisting in the timely completion of all or-ders.
• Responsible for returning all inventories to the proper warehouse in a timely and accurate manner once all allocations against the material are completed.
• Practices good housekeeping while maintaining neat, orderly and clean shop floor and workplace at all times.
• Works in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GPM), Occupational Safety and Health Administra-tion (OSHA) and internal safety guidelines.
• Maneuvers and handles all containers with proper material-handling equipment.
• Performs safe and proper handling of hazardous waste.
• Reports any issues or problems to management.

Academic Background

• HS Diploma required.

Professional Experience

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
• Basic knowledge of shipping regulations/requirements

Technical Skills

• Must have forklift license or pass a written and driving test to obtain certification
• IATA Certification and DOT Certification preferred.
