Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is part of the preeminent leadership development organization for girls, serving girls and adult volunteers throughout western Ohio and southeast Indiana. What you’ll be working on:

• Developing and updating curricula used to deliver Girl Scout programming
• Integrating experiential learning, cooperative learning, and girl-led program processes into curricula, including tips for engaging girls and debriefing questions
• Establish a collaborative working process between teams to understand, develop, and test curricula in diverse delivery settings, and provide revisions based on feedback
• Develop and implement training for staff and volunteers in use of curricula
• Curricula will be specific to 5 topic or badge areas, delivered over 6 sessions, over multiple program grade levels. Curricula will include outcomes-based objectives, hands-on activities, facilitation notes, supplies and alternatives based on delivery method. Curricula should reflect an understanding of the communities, organizations, and schools, where this content will be delivered, including content priorities, logistical requirements, and references for state curriculum standards, when appropriate.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in education preferred – or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, and Zoom
• Experience working in urban educational settings, preferred

• Flexible Schedule, minimum of 15 hours per week, anticipated 4-5 month assignment
• Remote work arrangement available, with availability to participate in in-person meetings and trainings as necessary
• Open to W2 or 1099 work arrangement
