Position Summary:

As a member of the Customer Support/Retail team, you will support and enhance our member’s experience through excellent customer service in our satellite Homewood office and on occasion, some of our other locations.

This is a part-time, non-exempt eligible role with flexible work hours including afternoons, evenings and some weekends. Expected local travel is 25%. Mileage is reimbursable.

Essential Duties:

• Ringing sales, restocking merchandise, and creating in-store displays

• Opening, reconciling, closing cash drawer for retail shop

• Salesforce support

• Answering Council Phone center

• Scheduling and implementing traveling shops to various Girl Scouts events throughout Southern Cook and Will counties

• Provide back up support to the Customer Support Specialists as needed in our Gathering Places

Job Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience 

• Knowledge of Counterpoint Point of Sales System a plus

• Able to learn, understand and apply case management system in Salesforce a plus

• Ability to work independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and working knowledge of Excel

• Must be organized and customer focused

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
