Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines is Hiring a Customer Care Specialist Near Raleigh, NC

Description

At Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines, we BELIEVE in the power of girls. We CONNECT over 41 counties spanning central and eastern North Carolina. We GET INVOLVED in our communities with hundreds of service projects completed each year. Under the supervision of the Manager of Customer Care Services, the Customer Care Specialist provides direct administrative support to all customers, including staff and volunteers via phone, email, or in person. The Specialist will also be producing all types of print material, website editing, email communications, and customer surveys. The Specialist also maintains an integrated, comprehensive database of camp, events, program, membership, and training information via custom software and ensuring processed data's accuracy, efficiency, and retrieval.

The Customer Care Specialist position is a hybrid position NOT a fully remote position. The individual MUST reside within North Carolina.

Major Accountabilities: 

  • Supports all functions of a multi-channel contact center.
  • Ensures all outgoing tasks and materials meet the Girl Scout required style guidelines. 
  • Sets up product trainings and events while providing support to Program and Volunteer Services by checking in information for events, program, and adult training customers and handing out information. 
  • Creates and manages Council’s online surveys.
  • Responsible for copier/mailroom functions; operates and maintains all equipment; orders office, program, and training supplies; assists and prepares all mail pick up and deliveries. 
  • Performs and maintains all data entry for property reservations, registrations/activities of camp, events, membership, troop, and training, ensuring all information is kept confidential, current, and accurate. 
  • Processes payment, financial assistance, wider ops, cookie dough, and campership paperwork in accordance with procedures.
  • Maintains accurate records and communication logs including but not limited to Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards in a timely, professional manner.
  • Responsible for Volunteer Training Records Management and Volunteer Services certifications and recertification.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of previous office experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in Adobe.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload, while managing multiple deadlines.
  • Outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Must be willing to obtain a GSUSA membership ($25 annually) upon employment.
