Position Overview:

The IT Internship is a part time (20 hours/week), paid position, with the flexibility to work with the student’s class schedule. This position is located in Carnegie, PA in the IT Department and reports to our IT Manager. Job Responsibilities

• Review alerts to determine impact to systems and employees and perform response tasks
• Perform analysis of a variety of data sets to investigate potentially malicious activity
• Review threat material to determine impact and actions
• Work closely with IT staff to work active incidents through to closure
• Review daily reports of phishing emails/locked accounts/potentially malicious activity
• Assist staff with closing customer IT support tickets for our clients
• Assist in developing time efficiency processes and tools
• Assist with installing software, system and user setups
• Prepare and/or modify system and process documentation
• Research and implement various sand-box environments for testing, training, and troubleshooting
• Learn how to resolve server and software configuration issues in a team environment with support from senior team members
• Take inbound support requests from internal and external clients

Qualifications – Preferred

• Working toward four-year degree in the Information Services majors
• Systems analysis and design
• Programming, SQL skills
• Knowledge of SAP ERP software
• Solid capability in Microsoft Office software suite especially Excel
