Gilbane Building Company is Hiring a Project Manager Near New York City, NY
Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the construction of the Pier 26 Science Park project. Reporting to the Project Executive you will be onsite. This is a 10-12 month project and have a pipeline of similar type projects.

Responsibilities
- Compile charts and graphs for project reporting
- Assist in preparation of project-specific safety plan
- Proactively carry out the project safety plan and quality plan
- Maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, unions, subcontractors, etc.
- Prepare monthly reports
- Run OAC meetings
- Negotiate with subcontractors
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience on $2 million construction projects
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)
The ideal pay range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000 plus bonus, benefits, and retirement.
