Overview

The Project Controller leads all financial administration and fiscal management aspects of a project, ensuring that all team members, including Project Manager, Superintendent, and Engineer are following Gilbane financial policies and procedures, and communicating any potential profitability or risk to management.

Responsibilities

• Train and support project teams in all project accounting procedures 
• Ensure accuracy and completion of project forecast 
• Oversee project accountants 
• Assist in the financial closing process, including development of cushion/risk analysis

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION 

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field 
• 12 years with CM or General Contractor organization working on $100M or larger construction projects 
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word 
• Proficient in CMiC
