Gilbane Building Company is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Providence, RI

Overview

The Financial Analyst under broad supervision prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports. As a member of the Corporate FP&A team the Financial Analyst will partner with teams across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly mid-level management reporting package
  • Assist with monthly variance analysis to budget
  • Review financial information for unusual variances and assist with explanations
  • Assist Financial reporting manager with Ad Hoc reporting & analysis

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • 2 - 6 years relevant experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • CMIC and/or MicroStrategy experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Construction accounting a plus
