Gilbane Building Company is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Providence, RI
Overview
The Financial Analyst under broad supervision prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports. As a member of the Corporate FP&A team the Financial Analyst will partner with teams across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly mid-level management reporting package
- Assist with monthly variance analysis to budget
- Review financial information for unusual variances and assist with explanations
- Assist Financial reporting manager with Ad Hoc reporting & analysis

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics or other quantitative discipline
- 2 - 6 years relevant experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- CMIC and/or MicroStrategy experience a plus
- Knowledge of Construction accounting a plus
