ABOUT THIS ROLE

You are a QA Engineer with at least 2 years of professional QA experience who is passionate about quality and has a keen eye for detail. You will assess software quality primarily through manual testing and have a base understanding of automated testing procedures. You will review and analyze product and system specifications, be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, and help to troubleshoot issues. Your day to day will consist of identifying bugs and workflow improvements, maintaining test environments and planning deployments. As a technical hands-on QA Engineer, your role will be as an active member of agile project teams working closely with product and engineering team members to ensure proper test coverage for applications being developed. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly. 

HOW YOU’LL STAND OUT

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Deep understanding of functional testing, cross-browser testing, regression testing and performance testing
• Acute attention to detail, analytical and an aptitude for problem solving 
• Ability to work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Understanding of automated testing tools and methodologies, ability to document and troubleshoot errors, and evaluate product features according to specifications
• Strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks 
• Experience in a consulting environment a plus
