Ghafari is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Dearborn, MI

Responsibilities

Ghafari Associates is looking for a TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST to join our DEARBORN, MI office. Candidates may work a 100% REMOTE, HYBRID, or IN OFFICE schedule.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the Human Resources department and the recruiting efforts of Ghafari Associates. An ideal candidate will have broad experience in recruiting for Architecture, Architectural Engineering and Construction related positions, and have an interest or some exposure in other HR functions such as employee relations, performance management and DEI.

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Recruit for various technical positions in architecture, architectural engineering and construction. This includes:
    • Posting job descriptions in the ATS system
    • Reviewing resumes
    • Sourcing resumes via LinkedIn, resume databases, and other AI resources
    • Pre-screening candidates establishing interviews with hiring managers (both in-house and virtual)
    • Working with hiring managers to select candidates and make offers
  • Additional administrative tasks may be assigned, including but not limited to: entering updated data into the HRIS system and employee relations items
  • Participate as human resources team member on special projects
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent field of study

 Experience:

  • 5 years of recruiting for an architectural, engineering and construction company, and/or heavy recruitment for specialized engineering positions.
  • Previous experience within a global organization preferred

Skills/Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows 10, HRIS software, online applicant tracking systems and other AI recruitment tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
